I’ve had a pretty dry spell lately, blogging wise. There were complications after my surgery, and I was in too much pain for awhile. My depression kicked in and kept me down. When I finally felt well, the words didn’t come. Hence, my blogger’s block post, and adding to the frustration, I spilled a drink on my computer and had to get a new keyboard.

Feeling pretty discouraged and dispirited, I needed an emotional boost. Suddenly something exceptionally special happened! My wonderful peers have nominated me for four awards in three weeks! I can hardly believe it! I am deeply honored and extremely grateful for this acknowledgement. Each meaningful award arrived at a time when I desperately needed a cheerful thought. Sharing my inner emotions and memories is a challenging task at times; but, when I am informed that I have inspired, I am brought to tears. It is the number one reason I am here.

I’ll be busy for the next week or so writing my individual “acceptance” posts. Meanwhile, I just have to give a shout out and big loving thank you to The Pen and the Page, Amity and Charitha  Subramanyam, for not only renewing my inspiration; but, for your beautiful words as well.

I believe we all have a unique story to tell and in sharing that story, we all connect not only as writers and bloggers, but as human beings. Thank you all for being a part of my journey.
